The new 6-way Universal Breakout Leads fit most automotive electrical components and are available in 3 sizes

Pico Technology’s new 6-way Universal Breakout Leads allow you to connect your PicoScope Automotive Oscilloscope to a wide range of components in the engine bay, without having to strip or pierce any insulation and with no risk of damage to connectors.

Each lead has six blades wired to six sockets, allowing you to insert it between a plug and socket pair, and a further six 'banana' (4 mm) sockets that connect to the TA000 test leads included in the PicoScope Automotive Oscilloscope Kit. The leads are available with blade sizes of 1.5 mm, 2.3 mm and 2.8 mm.

Armed with the new 6-way leads, you will be able to test most of the sensors and actuators on all makes and models of vehicle, including MAP, temperature, throttle position and airflow sensors, fuel pumps, primary ignition circuits and fuel injectors.

The 6-way Universal Breakout Leads are designed for use with the PicoScope Automotive Oscilloscope Kit, which turns a PC into a high-performance diagnostic tool. The kit enables you to find faulty components quickly, even when other tools give up. Aimed equally at mechanics and technicians, the PicoScope kit is easy for novices to learn, yet full of advanced features for expert users.
